Visiting us for the first time?

When you meet your practitioner for the first time, she/he will start with a discussion about you, your health and your reasons for asking for care.

If you want to find out any information about what to expect before your first visit, call the clinic and arrange to speak to someone – they will be happy to answer any queries you have.

All of our team will take you through a detailed consultation. This will include the history of your condition and a thorough examination using a series of specialised tests to reach a diagnosis.

If further studies are required such as blood tests, x-rays or MRI, a referral can be made. You will be given a clear explanation of the proposed treatment, including any possible complications and have the opportunity to ask any questions, before you decide to proceed.

Once the examination is complete, you will often be treated during this visit.

Treatment

Since everyone is different, we tailor our holistic treatments to each patient’s individual needs.

Techniques such as adjustments, mobilisation, ultra-sound and soft tissue therapies may be used to restore the normal function to the joints.

Recommendations will be given to help you in between appointments – exercises or stretches, advice for posture or ergonomics and whether to apply ice or heat.
